On the 12th Day of Christmas My True Love Gave to Me

The courtesy of not

Laughing his butt off

As he helped me

Up off the floor

When I sprained my ankle

Taking the tree down

Breakfast for supper

His favorite chair

4 icepack treatments

3 fluffy pillows

2 more Advil

And a day of bad reality TV

  1. So sorry about the sprained ankle, Michele (and the bad reality tv). Hard to envision how you could be hurt taking down a Christmas tree (although accidents happen in strange ways – I broke an ankle once when my foot slipped off my sandal during a rain shower and I fell into the street).

Sounds like you are being well taken care of. Enjoy your time off and have a quick recovery!

  2. It is hard to envision, isn’t it? 🙂 Picture this: I “fell” off my shoe while carrying an armload of tree decorations down the hall. One of those slo-mo color-me-red prat falls where your not sure whether to laugh or cry. It’s not serious, just inconvenient – but on the up side I did get a jump on New Year’s Resolution: “organize sock drawer” while watching bad reality tv – M:)

  3. Sorry about your accident. Play Free Rice instead of watching bad reality TV. You will heal faster!
